This month opens up on a sunny and festive note as the world famous Rathyatra is being held in various cities of the world, including Paris. The 'yatra' is accompanied by singing, chanting, drums, cymbals and dancing. The procession ends with a stage show, festival and vegetarian prasadam feast.

As the summer heat sets in, the month of July is bringing in the much needed vacation that are starting on a festive note. The world famous Jagannath Yatra is held in various cities throughout the world including Paris. The exhibition celebrating the art of adivasi India - Other Masters of India/ Autres Maîtres de l'Inde comes to a close this month. Guimet museum continues to exhibit Pakistan: the end of the ancient world in its Pakistan dedicated season. French photographer Véronique Durruty's photo Exhibition: Holi : A pinch of colour in India will be on throughout the month.
| Cultural notes of the month start with the Bollywood style musical Saawariya- The show back to Parisian audiences. On the occasion of the RathYatra Paris, Pandit Shiv Kumar will give a Kirtan Concert. Celebrated musician AR Rehman is on his 'Jai Ho' world tour with concerts in 16 major cities worldwide starting from New York on June 11th. Rehman is upbeat about his first concert in France. Join leagues of fans of AR Rehman in his 'Jai Ho' Concert.

| 8th Edition of the Paris Cinema Festival will propose a variety of programs to cinema lovers for this edition with Japan as the country of honour.
