Sportive June

With a culinary end to May, the month of June is the time to get a balanced inner and outer well-being in perspective.

In the second half of June, Péniche Cinéma invites you to a voyage to little India with its 3-day long festival Extravagant India. Short films and documentaries from India will be screened. There would also be animations, Indian snacks, dances etc. building a festival like ambience.

Wiith a few more events to go before June, we are promised a culinary end to May- the month that is always looked at with fondness for the number of public holidays it brings!

Giving a befitting end to May are the Indian Cuisine workshop with dinner from India Calling- Dinner with Friends, Pandit Arvind Parkih in Sitar Concert , Festival of India Soirée & Morning ragas concert of Ustad Sayeeduddin Dagar

With Spring Solistice in March and the spring festivals in the air, Paris could not be more beautiful.

Here's wishing everyone a Happy Easter, Nabo Barsha, Nava Varsha, Vishu, Gudi Padwa, Vaisakhi, Ugadi, Puthandi Vazhthukal and Akshya Tritiya.

The month of April looks inviting with its bevy of India related events happening in Paris notably India Festival. Don't forget to check out the ongoing Exhibition- Infinite India- a collection of photographs from the early 20th Century.

Month of May will bring the Indian musical scene to Paris with Veena Concert of Trivandrum Venkataraman, Salangai, Mohiniyattam with Shyamala Surendran and Indian Night- Contemporary Theatre.
