Bernard Turle's latest book available on pre-order
Bernard Turle's book 'Une heure avant l'attentat' (One hour before the bombing) will be available in March 2011 with 'Promeneurs Solitaires' Editions. The book is a retelling of the author-photographer's experience of his Bombay stay in November 2008 and an essay on Indian geopolitics, spirituality and materialism.

India is the country of honour at 19th Cinérail Festival
Festival Cinérail explores the dimension of cinematic arts related to the railways. For its 19th edition this year and its 6th year in Paris, the Festival has chosen India as the country of honour.

India has one of the largest rail networks in the world and one of the most prolific cinematic industry. It is only natural that India should be represented at a festival that celebrates both these dimensions. Vijay Singh, author- screenwriter-film maker who has been based in Paris for more than 20 years is the president of the jury.

Arrival of Beaujolais Nouveau
The Beaujolais Nouveau 2010 has arrived in the capital. The new vintage is now available in stores in Paris, rest of France' and the world.

In a tradition that has been maintained for the past 70 years, arrival of Beaujolais nouveau is celebrated in autumn. Third Thursday of November was fixed as the Beaujolais Nouveau day in 1985 by the Institut National des Appellations d'Origine (INAO). Since then, each year on this day, the wine amateurs gather at their favourite cellars, bars or at their homes to taste Beaujolais nouveau of the year.
Sports for Children this Christmas
Come Christmas, its holiday time for children as well as adults. To initiate children to sports, the Ecole Municipal de Sport- EMS- is proposing a host of spotive activities for children from 9-16 years, be it Rugby, basketball, tennis, shoting, football, judo, table-tennis, swimming, trampoline, badminton or even hip-hop dance.

The sport courses will be held from December 20th-31st at various centres in and around Paris during Christmas school vacations. The enrolment is open from Monday, November 22nd. Places are limited between 12-32 for different activities.
