Circuses in Paris from October '09- March '10
For the pleasure of the young and the old alike, Paris city has various offers for those looking for entertainment of circus - Circus Phenix- Peking Circus, Circus Alexis Gruss, Circus Arlette Gruss and Circus Romanès to name a few.
On the beach- Sous la Plage
English, French and Turkish artists will perform for 'Sous la Plage'- on the beach 7th edition.
From July 12th-13th, 2009 come and listen to the psychedelic funk, rock, pop and folklorish music.
Rock en Seine- Rock Festival of Ile-de-France
Rock en Seine Rock Festival spread over 3-days from August 28th-30th, 2009 at Parc de St.-Cloud.
Join the festivities with camping facilities for 3-day pass holders. Rock bands like Oasis, Faith No More, Prodigy are among a host of others that will perform over a period of 3-days.
Parents of children from 6-10 years can bring them along for free. Mini 'Rock-en-Seine' to keep the young ones busy. Food stalls, animations and a festival like ambience that unites more than 50,000 festival-goers, a rock event not to miss, right at the doors of Paris!
A Chocolaty Christmas Tree
A 20 meters high Christmas tree graces the business district of La Défense to the North-West of Paris, courtesy Ferrero Rocher.
It is on display from Dec 6th- 26th at the Parvis de la Défense, just a stone's throw from the Christmas Market of La Défense. A visit to this sumptuous Christmas tree just starts with a hostess proposing you the world famous chocolaty treat before letting you discover the world of Ferrero Rocher.
