Group of Franco-Indian Reflection (GRFI) celebrated its 20th anniversary on June 6th, 2010 in the presence of GRFI president Mrs. Lalitha Badrinath and distinguished guests such as the H.E. Rajan Mathai, Indian Ambassador to France, and Jean Marc le Rudulier, Mayor of the City of Buc, among others.

AR Rahman looking forward to his first Paris concert

AR Rahman, the celebrated Indian music composer, is looking forward to his first live concert in Paris this July. The concert is a part of his 'Jai Ho' world tour with 17 concerts across the globe including in New York, Los Angeles, Mannheim, London (Wembley, O2 Arena), etc. The magnitude of this conference is a witness of the artist's international repute and fan base. The concerts have been envisaged on a theatrical scale with insertion of new technologies for sound and special effects to create a spectacular show lasting more than two hours and a half.

Leander Paes and Lukas Diouhy are runners-up at French Open Men's Doubles

The only Indian to have stayed till the final weekend of Roland Garros, Leander Paes, and his team mate Czech Lukas Diouhy were the runners-up at the Men's doubles final of the 2010 French Open in Paris.

Greek born French resident Taïg Khris broke the world record of the highest free fall jump in rollers on May 29th, 2010 by jumping from the first floor of nothing other than the iconic Eiffel Tower for his own monumental feat.
