French and desi fans of ShahRukh Khan will be delighted as the much awaited ShahRukh Khan-Kajol starrer 'My Name is Khan' will be releasing in France on May 26th, 2010.
The controversial blockbuster is being released in French cinemas by 20th Century Fox. The film was released in Cinemas in India, USA, Canada and UK in February. The film deals with the sensitive subject of being a Muslim in a post 9/11 USA throwing up issues such as racial prejudice, bigotry and possible xenophobia in times of crisis.
The film brings together the magical team of Shah Rukh Khan with Kajol under Karan Johar's Dharma Productions banner. Their last outing together was in the highly successful 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai'. The chemistry of the lead pair has left blockbuster films such as 'Baazigar' and 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' in its trail.
It may be noted that French fan groups of Shah Rukh Khan have been petitioning for more than a year to have the film premièred in France.
